Innocent Sorrow

Innocent Sorrow

A Poem by **
"

How you still look so beautiful, despite the things people would deem ugly.

"

The first time I saw you smile,

was during the blue moon.

Where the breeze blew,

and our minds soothed.

The second time I saw you cry

I could only observe,

and ask why?

The dry tears that rolled upon your sweet, pastel cheek.

The same cheek I caress,

when times are bleak.

Your sorrow grows endlessly,

upon me.

Your joys and happiness,

enchants me, gladly.

I watched as you mourn

as you laughed

as you fawn.

But most of all,

I watched your pure heart

soak in sorrow,

all because of innocent, old me.
