An Ethereal Moment

An Ethereal Moment

A Poem by Remanence
"

A common visual experience observed by those early risers who trek afield.

"
Mists of the morning,
rising from the meadow lands,
ghosts of the dew.

Wonderful Haiku Watercress. Visually stunning and one I have witnessed so many times while boating on the Thames. I love watching those drifting veils and the early morning dew left in their wake. Amazing how quickly the sun can burn it away when it rises.

Thank you Carlos. They were old friends in my youth when I walked through the morning dew.
"Ghosts of the dew." A splendid metaphor I have never before heard. It gives a poetic definition to a real phenomenon.
