It Feels (Music)

This was meant to be about music, but I realize that everyone has their own escape ...Writing, cooking, or maybe a good book ... Something that takes them away to another world, a place where everything is what they WANT it to be, and nothing else.

It feels soft

It feels smooth

It makes you feel happy

It makes you feel rude

It makes you feel safe

And alone all at once

Like a lion in a meadow

Ready to pounce

It takes you away

To your special place

Where no one can hurt you

And you never lose the race

Where you’re always in the center

And never alone

Like the cow in the rhyme

Who jumped over the moon

In that place I am often

Buried deep in my thoughts

On a beach in paradise

Under the sun so hot
