Always Gunna

Always Gunna

A Poem by Nae Nae

Sure, push me down, kick dirt in my face.
You're going to anyways.
Go ahead, tell everyone that I'm nothing, that I did something I didn't,
It won't matter what I say.

It never mattered what I said,
It never mattered what I did,
You were always going to treat me like this,
Treat me like I did something wrong to you.

The truth is, I didn't do anything at all,
Not to you, not to anybody.
I only just got here, I've barely settled in,
But that didn't matter to you.

So do what you want, throw me to the ground,
Why should I try to stop what's going to happen?
Why should I waste my time to change fate?

You have captured an emotion common to many people in various situations. I like the connection and expression of frustration. Well written.
