Depression

It's like being stuck in a hole,
A dark hole.
But you don't know where you are.
You don't know where to go.
    Everywhere you go, people laugh and talk,
    It doesn't matter what they talk about,
    You just know it's always about you,
    The sort of things that make you wanna shout.
The thought of rejection follows you everywhere,
Everything scares you,
You always feel that the whole world hates you,
Even though the whole world only looks and asks "who?"
   You want to wear darker colors,
   Yet you always appear to be happy,
   The world can't know the way you feel,
   Though it hurts to keep the whimpers behind your teeth.
You want to fool sick,
Because you don't feel like doing..Anything,
You never want to do anything,
You have a deep love for music, but you can never sing.
    If you've never had it, you don't know how it feels,
    If you've ever had it, every moment you wish you didn't.
    The dark thoughts of death and pain,
    Leaving and screaming, and never returning, always floods your mind.
The end is always near,
But you always want it to be,
It never comes soon enough,
And nobody could ever see.
