Not Me For Him.

Not Me For Him.

A Poem by Simran Kewlani

The fire in the furnace and the fire within me matched so well,
The pain received on touching a rose,
The hate of a  girl for being overweight,
The cry of the beggars for money,
It's all hit me so hard, I felt it all within me,
I felt the pain and the blood rushing down my skin,
I felt the weight of the world on me while i was busy hating myself,
I slit through my hands because all I wanted was pain,
I cried so very much that I did not hear your steps come towards me but go away,
I felt my heart breaking when I saw this all happen,
I wanted death to stop by before I saw all this,
Because what hurt me was never the reason you were mad,
Mt tears were never the reason of the pain you had,
And the pieces of my heart were never the reason of your tears to fall.

hearing the footsteps walking away, but not hearing them come towards, very sad.

sometimes we are so wrapped up in all the pain, we can't see the hope.
