Realization

How far can I go from here

without looking back to see you standing

with tears in your eyes and a crying smile

trying to wave your hands with a kiss

that you have been trying to give 

from the very moment i saw you

we had out last talk, last meet

our last moment of togetherness

our last touch with eachother

our last word of love

out last smile with each other

last but not the end, i hope

she hopes too

here i am at the corner

far from the sight of her gaze

trying to stop myself from going forward

holding myself from looking back

i wish she knows that i am having difficulty

that i am trying to see her last time

that i want to run towards her for a hug

but i am moving forward

not stopping my pace and my determination

there she is standing, here i am going away

at the end of the line, far from each other

i stand still and i ask to myself

how far can i go from here

how far can i be from her

without here presence, in her absence

will i be able to live long enough

to come back and see her smile

see her tears and wipe them with my fingers

hold her in my arms and tell her that i am back

at the end of the life, from from where i stand

will i be lying down on the ground near  her lap

holding my head with her hand, trying to soothe me

will i be there just to be with her

at last, will we be together again?
