The Bird

Found some old poetry and this was among them

Across the seas and past the skies

Find the bird with the purple eyes

Grab its tail, hold on tight,

Let it take you in its flight

 

Let it take you to a land unknown

Where fruits of the world have always grown

Let it show you the color of life

Let it take away the strife

 

Across the seas and past the skies

For it will lead you away from turmoil

Into the land of sacred soil

 

Across the seas and past the skies

Find the bird with thte purple eyes

Let yourself go, pain and sorrow too,

Open your heart, let it take you
