You don't know me...

You don't know me...

A Poem by Jazmine T

Honestly, I don’t care

If you have tripped the light fantastic

Filled your corners with spiritual healing

Washed your grubby fingers in the well of good intentions

Drank a litre of the good stuff

And eaten until your belly swelled

Driven the weak to distraction

Saved the little girl with the pink balloon

Prayed in the temple of every living god

And couple of dead ones too

Meditated with icons

Medicated with serial killers

Kissed the holy skirt of a travelling mystic

Learnt from the masters of the nine galaxies

Lived for eternity and died a million deaths

You don’t know me.

Awesome way of making a point. Reminds me of "The Day the Saucers Came" by Neil Gaimain.

that was so sweet ,how dreamy and the images so wild
imagination has no bounds with you ,anf flow was like a stream
would not care if you ve seen the light, only you, washed your soul and spirits
of good intensions you drank and more dazzled the weak
and baffled ,saved the girl, and prayed with God ,the one i know and not
you ve thought for long and learned from all..still you ll never know me
i really loved this
lovely write..

Short and sharp like a knife. I really like this :) I could relate to it, and I think a lot of people would agree with me there. There's definatly a lot of resentment and power contained within this. It's brilliant :)
