Personal Savior.

Personal Savior.

A Poem by T. Wes Smith

I feel hopeless, unspiritual, like every step I take is blaspheming, how can this be, things have gone so wrong, does my heart overrule the actions I take, how is the perspective swayed, deliver me my own personal savior, so that I may know the path to take, divided by what’s right and what’s wrong, caught somewhere in between, I don’t know the way it leans, infested with the ideal, that what I am can’t be repealed, can I redeem, the demon within me, so it seems, deliver me my own personal savior, so that I may know the path to take, oh god please, feel free to enlighten me.
