With you, I am me again

this is about a girl being torn love gone, no friends all alone. Until one day a boy comes a long and brightens up her life.

I used to be alone
Left in the dark
where nobody
could see me

I used to sit
in that dark corner
so nobody could see
me cry silent tears

My heart
used to be torn apart
Into a billion pieces
all because of Him

I had no one
Left all alone
broken beyond repair
at least that is what I thought

Now you have pulled me
 into the light
so that I can shine
with everyone else

Now I am in the middle
talking to everyone
never shedding
a single tear

Now my heart is whole
and full of love
the pieces put back
together at last

Now I have you
I laugh with you
I smile with you
I am me again with you

i loved this, i keep on re-reading and re-reading and re-reading it yet again!

i love the final stanza so much, it rings in my ears.

i find that you opened with a very good stanza and you closed with a spectacular stanza. so you have got it down.

I can really relate to this. Cept my heart was torn by my own mother. I used to feel so alone, until I met Kurtis(who is now my boyfriend). You expressed these feelings very well. I like the imagery as well. You did a great job on this.
