Time

As thou take a life; I am born
You the queen, we are but a pawn
Our stars unite with you
Destiny is written by this two

In grief you will heal all
Liar; some would call thee
Blinded by pain, we would fall
Then rise, knowing you are the key

Test us constantly, you do
Through sadness you teach us of life
You create yet destroy too
After mistakes, we learn to thrive

You are but formless,
But your existence is vital to us
You are era, epoch and age
Overcoming you we become sage

Ooh! I've never read a poem dedicated to time, about it yes, but not as though it were a living being. I couldn't choose which was my favorite line. Great job!

Thank you Alondra. This is the first poem that I wrote.
