IS DADDY FIBBING?

No flowers in my house

Ask me why..

No garden in my courtyard!!

No garden in my courtyard

Ask me why…

No space in my courtyard!!

No space in my courtyard

Ask me why

Daddy’s car is too big..

Daddy’s car is too big

Ask me why

Our family is so huge

Our family is so huge

Ask me why

Daddy loved mummy so much

Daddy loved mummy so much

Ask me why

He says she is his garden

He says she is her garden

I ask him… How?

Her eyes are like beetles

Her teeth are like jasmines

Her lips exudes honey.

Her smiles spread fragrance..

Her cheek is red as roseflower..

Her gazes are lusty as hibiscus..

Her breasts are tender as lotus..

Her words...., as mesmerizing as a flower

In the hands of a cupid!!!

Saying this dad laughed aloud

I too laughed… though

I couldn’t make out

Garden that mummy is..

Is Daddy fibbing?

To find the wonders of a garden in another human, this is beautiful yet unexpected from the title of your poem.
