DEMON OF IMAGINATION

Looking into the picture

I meditate over a demon

Demon of imagination

I ask, “what do you think of it?”..

Apple reminds me Adam’s apple

The escaping pellet reminds the divinity

Which Adam pawned

To have a kiss from Eve..demon says

Why the whole in blue and dark?

No idea my dear demon

But they are colors of depression

And despair too..

I got it I got it..demon said

It is nothing but…

The Eden of 20th century

Where guns spoke instead of flowers

A predetermined story to live upon

A predetermined pain to live with

A predetermined loss of faith to regain

Eden the sacred garden...

Is lost, only to teach us

The art of regaining the lost….

HA Ha haa….

Demon laughed in triumph.

I stood there aghast

Not knowing whether..

To cry or laugh..

JENY
I am afraid that there is a touch of sarcasm in my lines..
But I never thought in that line…
Devon..never take it as an insult….
I wrote the poem….within 5 mts…
Without giving much thought to the image..
If you feel that it is an affront…
I am ready to delete it …from my collection of poems

Interesting thoughts in this one..some of the grammar made me stop for a moment in confusion, but otherwise, nice job. c:

An interesting idea. The biblical analogy in relation to the apple and applied to the modern day symbol of the bullet is one which leads the mind to ponder the image in terms of its representation as a piece of art. I like that. And the demon imagination is also interesting in that by calling it 'demon' one is apt to think of a cynical conscience, and one which projects perhaps an ugly truth that cannot be denied. I like the idea of the '20th century Eden', and the meaning in 'the art of regaining the lost'...
I noted no particular sarcasm, and therefore saw no insult. There are a couple of places where there are small words missing (most likely the haste), but that is easily rectified. A good piece of work on the whole, considering it was written in 5mins.

so adam and eve conferred: we got to get the f**k out of here; we're the only two left...all those lions and tigers, and the crawly spiders makes it hard to get a good night sleep...eve said, let's eat some of those god damn private reserve apples he's so crazy about, that ought to do it...and it did...imagine that
