Swan

Swan

A Poem by Scott S
"

Just a little piece about love and beauty. Here I go with that whole romance thing again.

"
Lilac and fuchsia
Your scent so divine
Skin of milk and honey
Takes my breath away
A welcome distraction
When you walk into the room
Taken hostage by your gaze
Across a room full of souls
Afloat on the river
Of a smile so enchanting
Drowning in the current
When you whisper my name
A tiny patch of heaven
Resides inside your kiss
Lustful thoughts abounding
My swan has come to call

Nothing wrong with romanticism. An enchanting poem. Universal concept. Wonderfully written. 'A tiny patch of heaven resides inside your kiss'. How exquisite to experience heaven like this. How soulful your words.
