Mrs. Popularity

Mrs. Popularity

A Poem by C.C. Marx
"

just a little vented frustration

"
Such superficial aspirations
They plague you my dear
Tell me darling
Is your mind lonely?
No penny for a thought
For you cannot pay for nothing
Your imagination
So predictable and stereotypical
So dull and lacking
Much like your personality
Oh how you poke fun
At the unique and different
Though they have
The courage to be an original
Dear Barbie incarnate
I only wish to share the truth
You are as interesting as
The plastic doll you resemble.

Thank you girly xx
Ahaha! This kind of tickled my funnies. Especially the "cannot pay for nothing" part. No thoughts, no pennies. :P It's true, though. There's a few of those girls in every crowd...

Glad to be of service! Ha I wouldn't write that if there wasnt some proof
I can't stop laughing! I loved this poem because, well, there are some girls in my school that I absolutely hate and this sums them up PERFECTLY. Anyway, as for criticism, the line, "for you cannot pay for nothing," is grammatically incorrect. You should have the word anything instead of nothing, unless you meant to use slang. Anyhow, love the poem!

Aww :)
Never gave a damn about being popular or looking like anyone but me. We all want to be attractive but when unrealistic examples of "perfection" cause young women to starve themselves we have a problem. Love yourself as you are!!! Beauty comes from personality and your heart. Very good poem!!

Some people deserve that sass!! I wouldn't say anything if it wasnt warranted
I also know girls like this and some of them could definitely use a reality check :) Fun, sassy poem, I like it.

Ahaha! This is genius. Guess this is intentionally made for married women because of the tile although Barbie could be anyone else regardless of status. This is going into my favorites:)
