To my Mom on Mother’s Day

I cannot see you

I cannot touch you

All that remains

Your blood running through my veins

Allowing me to feel you

You were my best friend

My guiding light

My support through every fight

We didn’t always agree

Oh my God

You were as stubborn as could be

But look at what’s become of me

You are my courage

You are my strength

You are the voice inside my head

My personal Daily Bread

Thank you for being my Mom

You are forever in my soul

That keeps me whole

We are never apart

I love you with every shattered piece of my heart!
