The sound of nothing

The sound of nothing

A Poem by Soren

When there is nothing to say and nothing to feel

to the center of the compass fall directions

Winds swirl into calm waves against the keel

connections splinter sun's reflections

Mist of dreams, intoxicated themes,

broken eddies drift in rhyme

Bleeding noise, sunshine silence redeems,

hushed clouds of cotton ball clocks chime

The stillness of breath of an infant sleeping,

burning candle light's sound,

ethereal joy through silk sands seeping,

on silent notes, home is found

when home can be like saiing on a very calm sea knowing the compass is really not necessary to find our way...love will guide us...the breath of the infant sleeping will guide us.
and we will feel again and still.
