I Beg of You

I Beg of You

A Poem by OtherWorldWoman

You talk your words of worries
Embrace me with your straight-jacket hugs
Deceivingly to you
It isn't a comfort
Insanity is not our conclude
I beg of you
Stop being my asylum
I only wish to wander
To the edge of the world and back
I promise
It'll only take a lifetime
Meet me where the sea begins
Where the salt water turns fresh
We will trap a rainbow in our net
And discuss things the universe fears
Turn around and look sideways
My world isn't as dark as it may seem
