Sunset City

A Poem by OtherWorldWoman

An orange glow erupts
from behind the mountainous horizon
Cloud streaks painted across the sky
like the canvas of an artist, lost
Heavy scent of strong indian spice
briefly
as the tickertape strung across
the airy ceiling of an auto lot
wave with the wind
Rocky ink-blotted glaciers
sink into hazy tints of warm pink
Staring a rushed world
directly in the eye
Displaying the mystics of its timelessness
Of its elegance and beauty
For only a short moment

I like this...i would like a comma after briefly but that is personal choice. In this rushed word just for a little while you see timeless beauty.....nice work.
