Breach

Breach

A Poem by OtherWorldWoman

The dusty twilit sky
settles
under a glimmering crescent moon
softly kissing the lips of shadowed stars
a perfect standstill portrait
a nighttime canvas
a black raven sprung out of darkness
from the black veil of dusk
glides past an empty
field of grass
past the silent lovemaking
caught dead within the city traffic
beyond the graffitied condominiums
and car lots
fly on and on
seeking impossible destination
breach between earth and air
love and hate
abundance and lack
unknown, unidentifiable value
lingering
broken within space and time

Abstract-Attraction,

... And I must say, I am taken by this beauty ... a state of nothingness or in-between.

The profound statement made here, is abundantly forthright as well as empty. The reader is lingering on the notion that life is hanging in the balance. It is as if the time/space continuum has been fractured and no return foreseeable.

Descriptive and connected with all things we face daily...we know not what we have, until, alas 'tis evaporated.

We can sit and watch as the spaces in which you speak flow, slowly into the abyss. It is truly amazing (the power of words).

Much enjoy'd.

Thank you for sharing,

There is such a smokey ambiance of space floating between your lines. I felt so comfortable in your words. True artists write this way, you have it. Your poetic language moves effortlessly. Where, again, few will go, you dwell alone and love it!! Thank You for giving me your poetry. I truly treasure reading them :))) I'm going back and read it again what a treat!!

A beautiful potrayal of a raven's journey through the night and very insightful visions and thoughts skillfully blended with the imagery. A pleasure to read. Great write.

Nice voyage through the depth of blue sky internally.

This is what I mean. You are a far better writer than I am in mine and probably many others eyes. Your way with words is impeccable. The description in this piece is amazing :) Very good piece! Looking forward to tomorrow :P
