Honey

Honey

A Poem by OtherWorldWoman

The walls are melting away
Into the overpowering waves of day
Blackened paint is sliding to the floor
Its seeping beneath my door
In threat to suffocate us underneath my covers
As I sleep beside my lover
Peacefully
