empty room

empty room

A Poem by Scout

Loneliness sinks into my heart

I sit in a room

an empty room

thinking about everyone I knew

knowing they were not thinking about me

then I realize I am a lone on this planet

Not one human to comfort my needs or cure my dying heart

but I always had God to light my day

but he was even gone

in my heart but faded away

where have you gone Lord?

I need you right now

to lift me up

to guide my feet and

my teary eyes to better days

lord please

even with millions of friends

without you

i am the loneliest peron

on earth

About
I love writing and reading. It is the best feeling to sit down and write out your feelings in poetry, or imagine a dream world and write a novel. I can not imagine not writing ever, it is like my oxyg.. more..
