Savior

Savior

A Poem by Scout
"

I'm not sure if you could really call this a poem but o well.

"

The tears like grains of salt

fell slowly down her dace

her desperate moaning

was loud enough for all to hear

but she was all a alone

she had no one in the world

she had begun crying standing up

but gradually all of her burdens brought her to her knees pathetically

A storm was around her

and darkness covered her helpless figure

People passed by like dark shadows

but none noticed the desperate girl

wiht her last strength she tried to stand up

but failed, falling to the ground

a gentle but rough looking hand broke her fall

the hand lifted her face abd all she saw was light

glorious light

radiating from the person who aided her

he scooped her up into his arms

and dried her tears away with his own hands

She nestled her head into his chest

and he whispered I love you in her ear

He stopped and put her down so gently

He smiled kindly at her as he held her hand

Still smiling he seemed to fade awag

and ppeople appeared around her

She was sitting down with many others

listening to some music

she looked at the others

searching for someone having knowledge of the man holding her hand

No one seemed to see the kind smiled man

she closed her eyes and reopened them to see if the gentle handed man would still be there

and he was still smiling back at her

He squeezed her hand and kept on looking in her eyes

She turned her head forward and

knew no matter what he would still be there by her side

He'd never let go

through the calm

or through the storm

He was her savior

About
I love writing and reading. It is the best feeling to sit down and write out your feelings in poetry, or imagine a dream world and write a novel. I can not imagine not writing ever, it is like my oxyg.. more..
