Capture Me

Capture me like you are
capturing a moment on film.
Capture every bit of me,
what you can see and
what cannot be seen.

I want to be captured by you at sunset,
purples and oranges
in the desert sky.

Capture me in the rain, if you dare!
I will slow down and give you a head start.

And capture me sleeping.
That is the time when I am at peace,
comforted that you are there
watching over me.

I want to be captured --
to laugh when you finally catch up to me,
or cry when I see that you've given up
and are walking away.

Capture me soon though -
I need you.
