Baby Bear

Baby Bear

A Poem by Blackie Collar
"

Some lyrics I wrote for my solo project.

"

There’s nowhere to run, No place to hide

I got your attention, Yeah I caught your eye

You’re quite the sight, So It’s pointless to fight

Of all God’s creation, He made you right

I feel my heart race inside

Fear entwines my every nerve

I’m standing down for what it’s worth

But I’m the only man in her world.

Stuck in the cage of her domain

With those big brown eyes, and that soft dark hair

If glass were between us, in awe I would stare

But that’s neither here, and that’s neither there

It’s out in these woods you stalk me with care.

Now I feel my legs giving out

As you chase me through the mist

These witness eyes are everywhere

But I’m the only man in her world.

Stuck in the cage of her domain

You start at my legs, work up to my spine

Seem I can’t get away, seems I haven’t much time

Now you rip out my heart and you’re taking my soul

It’s been slow from the start, wished you swallow me whole

Devour my heart

You’re taking my soul

I gave up the fight

So swallow me whole

Devour my heart

You’re taking my soul

I gave up the fight

So swallow me whole

Devour my heart

You’re taking my soul

I gave up the fight

So swallow me whole

Devoured my heart

Devoured my soul

I gave it my all

But she still swallowed me whole
