Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel

A Poem by KAREN
"

She has passed on, but her soul is not at peace!

"

Wandering around the earth,

flourishing the atmosphere with my fragrance.

Everyone I see smells the scent,

but they don't see me.

I'm invisible like the wind blowing the trees.

I go unnoticed,

roaming from place to place.

My spirit is restless, lost.

My mind is like a raging storm.

I send out cherubs of light,

but I'm still over looked.

My soul needs to be fertile,

but it is empty, I cannot move on.

I watch over you my love,

and my precious baby girl.

I will not rest until I see you happy again.

Implant peace in their hearts I pray.

I long to touch him and to hold our baby.

I sit down beside him,

watching him hold our crying infant close to his chest.

His sorrow is evident on his face.

My finger brushes a tear from his eye.

I lean over and kiss our child's soft fuzzy head.

For a minute his pain subsides,

and our child hushes her sobs.

My soul cannot move on,

so I'll linger on,

watching over you until your hearts mend.

this is very healing...a view from an unsung martyr...what is it that heals that is invisable to us? time?

Wow, I wanted to hug the poor soul and tell her everything would be ok. Lonliness is such a sad thing. I love this poem

A beautiful poem. I believe in Guardian Angels. I like the kind and gentle story. I believe when we are at our worst. The Guardian Angel will whisper gentle and kind words to bring us peace. A excellent poem. Thank you.

A nice emotional read, a good write, also nice to see twins on writers cafe working together :)

Very nice read and well written too, with proper punctuation which I appreciate when reading a poem. It is nice to think that she might still be there watching them as they heal.

Great emotional writing! This one really hit my soft spot, one of my biggest fears is leaving my family behind suffering my loss. Thank you for sharing :)

OK...still getting over the shock of twins, both writing here on the cafe.....oh the shenanigans you tow could get up to on here...now the writing. While the subject is a hard one the way you wrote it was light and full of life and hope and protection that it made me smile form ear to ear as I read it even though it is not a happiest of thoughts. A great comfort to know they might be watching over....unless I'm up to no good...that just ain't right...lol. Great job.

Good Write!

It was so sweet! In that sad sort of way. The sorrow and feeling of being alone were very well expressed :)
