Guided by the Wind

Guided by the Wind

A Poem by Sarah
"

Keep moving forward and never look back

"

I stand alone

Upon a mountain

Looking at the sun

The orange and gold strike my face

The air, like after a storm

Behind me lies the darkened sky

A long low rumble calls to me

But I do not turn round

I do not give in

With courage deep within my heart

And fortitude in my soul

I pick up my once dragging feet

It’s time for me to journey on

And the past now must be gone

Guided by the wind, I press on
