Death March

Death March

A Poem by Holly
"

Not a very good poem, so bare with it.....

"

Death is marching forward leaving no place unscarred

 touching all the mountain tops

down to ever valley drop

all that can be seen

has seen his evil gleam

with homicide and suicide

there's no place left to hide

He's outside of your window

your happiness so low

his dwindling patience for your soul

signals your time to go

Death is looking for you

his eyes are on your door

so what will you say

when he's staring at your face

would you throw your arms around him

and say take my life away

or thinking of your corpse

would you barracade your door

if death looked you in the face

with unsuspecting grace

and no one told

that fate behold can only be a waste

Death is reaching out

so what will you do

welcome him or not

there's still no hope for you

It is a good poem. You always think that your poems are horrible. But it's okay, I do that too. lol Band camp is FINALLY over. Now I can start saying "this one time, at band camp..." lol

I shall kick your A*s for thinking this is not good. I know am your best firend(At least I hope I am....Am I *tear?*) and you may think I am just saying this for that reason, but I am not. This is good and I got to read it! HAHA politics. What then? OH! Face. You and your ilk. You want criticsm? OKAY! Some of the rhyme is catywampus. But is it good catywampus or bad? The world may never know. I tried to find out how many licks it took to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop, but I fell asleep at lick 143. Then it occured to me...I hate toosie rolls. Go figure. I'm gonna go now. It's a good poem. BAH!!
