For Suhad

For Suhad

A Poem by stars are far

FOR SUHAD

Suhad, the light and beauty of Lebanon

Undying love and kindness she possesses in abundance

Her friendship has no beginning and no end

And she’s always there to mend

Diligently the broken hearts of her friends

Everyone knows about her famous cooking

Lovingly as she prepares has me well and truly salivating

Morning, afternoon or the night

Open-heartedly she makes everything alright

Upon the lands of Tyre

Suhad resides, my amazing friend and sister

She’s a distant star that always shines so brightly

Amidst the doom and gloom makes everyone happier
