The wish to be loved and free

To experience every day

The sweetest of moments that put sugar to shame

Like a surprise kiss in the pouring rain

Or even to be pushed on the swing

We don’t only care about a ring

We just want to laugh

To smile,

Even if its just for a little while

To go on random adventures

To just lie under the stars and chatter a while

As the smiles and laughter, the stars stretch on for miles

We dream of the day

When you, in your own way

Will tell us that we're the one

Be it in the eye rolls of mocking

Or shaking your head at a bad joke

Hug us close and call us dorks

How much you care

Because we would love nothing more

Your smiles, laughs, and happy memories

The perfect movie ending

Watching the sunset on the beach
