Into the Darkness

Into the Darkness

A Poem by Norma M Sutton
"

submission for what happens next

"

Falling down into the darkness

Swirling out into space

Sparks fly with bright sharpness

Just hinting at shape

Falling down into darkness

Eyes wide open shut

Emotions all are heartless

Deep in the quiet quiet hut

Falling down into the darkness

Hiding from the true light

Sparks jump to and fro

Lighting up the dark night

It may be the unknown, but things are happening. Giving in ,and going for a ride into the abyss. Nice.

This is wonderful. It's got a really nice pace to it and made me stop for a moment after I read it and just think and absorb it.

I like this one. Fantastic imagery. Usually I point out one stanza or line that I liked best, but I can't pick just one out of this piece. They're all intricately wound together and they all are equally as good. Nice job.
