RevelingA Poem by Norma M SuttonStormy thoughtsShadows dance across the room Under watchful eye of the moon Stormy winds pass close by Blowing gently with a sigh Thunder calls into the night Longing for the morning light Rattling boom echoes on night air Following blinding white electrical glare Eyes blinded by the flash Ears deafened by the roar Deaf blind and reeling Hands follow the wall searching for the door Lightening again shows the room Illuminates the opening wide On joyful feet I glide Reveling in stormy gloom Morning will be coming soon Storms fury now spent I seek one last glimpse of the moon Before to sleep I relent © 2010 Norma M Sutton |
