Most Delightful Form of Depression

Most Delightful Form of Depression

A Poem by Sydney Biddles
"

Mixed emotions that accompany falling in love.

"

You are the most delightful form of depression.

Nothing like your eyes makes me forget mortality.

Makes me smile in wonder and pain.

actually i always feel that "less is more"
this poem says so much between the lines, and it allows us to journey down different roads of interpretation...
we ponder the paradox of delightful form of depression..
and that smile that is both wonder and pain....again...juxtaposing those two...works really well...
i would keep as is.

What more does it need? It seems perfect, you managed to capture the agony and the ecstasy of being in love. "...delightful form of depression." "...wonder and pain." sounds about right.
