Feathery,

And comforting..

You are my best friend.

 

Now I wonder;

Can you hear my pondering thoughts,

As I lay my head to rest at night?

Best Friend, do you ponder along with me?

When you are soaked;

With bitter, salty tears,

Do you feel my pain?

Best Friend, do you mourn with me?

Do you silently answer,

My questions,

On the unspeakable concepts?

Best Friend, what all have you seen?

And now;

Are you laughing at me?

For realizing,

That you know myself,

Better than I.

Best Friend, can you hear me?

 

Author's Note

I personally do not think this is one of my best; I wrote it half-asleep, based off of a thought I had; "What if pillows could read minds..?"
