Thoughts of Vengfull Cheating

A man attempting to cheat on the woman he loves, out of vengence, but he cannot.

I'm tempted, I'm lying,

To you this is surprising,

A woman with such beauty,

No way he's comprimising,

 

I tell you, I failed you,

I want to, but won't do,

anything inside the words,

That I had once told you,

 

I'm sorry, not really,

the emotion had no feeling,

Every single moment here,

i think it unfullfilling,

 

Why do it? persue it?

Or even think into it?

Just to get my mind away-

From everyday that my wife had put me through it..

I haven't known many who have stayed with their partner after cheating, that fact that you've seemed to says alot about this peice already. There is true emotion in it, not just anger, but pain and confusion. Your not only stating what's been going through your mind but also asking a question, "why'd you do it?" I hope she's at least answered that question for you, you deserve that at least. Your peom was wonderful I trully enjoyed it. Keep Writing.

a nice meter..which pulls the poem along..the content is a struggle I am sure that many people have come up against. Revenge is for those who are not happy with themselves..
