Brave New World

A Poem I did inspired by the novel 'Brave New World' By Aldous Huxley. Critiques are encouraged but all in all I hope you enjoy it.

Can you give me hope

In a brave new world?

Where happiness is heroin

Injected in your veins

Where feelings are failures

Wrung out by pleasures

Sought out in the darkness

Longing for intimacy tamed

This is where I differ

From my polyamorous strain.

So can you give me hope 

In a brave new world? 

Does your heart remember to love?

Or shall I find my comfort

At the barrel of a gun?
