I'm missing my best friend

I'm missing a part of my family

I know you were called to the The Kingdom

Where you live among your mother

And probably several sisters

And brothers,

I'm sure they knew you were suffering

And came to lift your soul

To Heaven..

The physical sorrow

We are left with

Is just something we will all deal with

At our own rate

We know you will watch over us

At your own pace,

It's no rush, take your time

We know you will have a lot to do

We'll be here for awhile...

Where you once called home.

Hey we're all thrown into these circumstances through no choice of our own, the very least we can do is find a way to deal with in a cathartic way, I think writing is one of those...I sure could use a drink though. ;-)

I sure could use one too and to think I turned down Vodka the other night. Where the hell was my mind. A White Russian would be awesome about right now. Had one for Mardi Gras but that was it..had to drive.

I was in New Orleans one year and they had a small parade during Mardi Gras come down Bourbon Street with John Goodman on it and I was able to shake his hand. That just made my night. Have a King's Crown from Mardi Gras in New Orleans too. Can you imagine what I had to do to get that? LOL ;)
