Hanging Low

Hanging Low

A Poem by Tarry Franck

In limbo I find it hard to withstand
I find it difficult to take a stand
The twists the turns
Please release me from these yearns,
I was left at the doorstep
With tears in hand
And you had no quarrels with leaving
As I wept,
In my life one minute
Out the next
Seems you had no worries
As you left,
What we shared I thought was great
I was clearly mistaken
Where did I go wrong
Did I leave in your heart that much hate,
I just can not comprehend
Which way to go
Where to turn
So by this noose
I hang, hang real low.

"in darkness you may catch me napping, sleeping the sleep of unrest and testing the feel of rough hemp against my neck, do not disturb this coming sleep, in darkness do not question my napping"

You are very welcome
sometimes a person is just an empty shell with no real love to offer, they may tell pretty lies or half truths to get what they want but....well, you know what happens so i won't beat it to death. excellent write.

;)
Powerful emotion and thoughts in the poem. Some questions are hard to answer. With time we will try to understand and grasp. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
