Dance

Dance

A Poem by Tarry Franck

You dance in the light of day
You dance in the light of the moon
You dance in my heart
And you danced so soon,
You were so light on the love
That you shared with me
You took my soul
And set it free,
I admire you
More than you will ever know
And I'm blessed
For you were long overdue
And this love will forever flow.

An interesting piece indeed...I found myself falling into a different state of mind as I read the words. The repetition of "dance" (which I don't normally love) was done so very well here; the point was made and then you just kept gently nudging us along. And then, "And I'm blessed/For you were long overdue" made my heart skip a beat. Nicely done.

A beautiful poem. Good to know the dance of happiness. I enjoyed the hope and positive feel in the outstanding poetry.

Thank you Coyote
When I look look from a distance at the poem as a whole - the layout resembles a cup or a chalice and its very apt because it seems that your 'cupeth runneth over' with love Tarry.
God Bless you

If ever a poem danced....This is a pleasure to read because (if you don't come to critique) you get taken in by the pure joy, then respect and gratitude follows, as it should, and you share in that as well...well, I did.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks for sharing
