hospital

hospital

A Poem by taylorrose
"

this poem is about a place that i hate and it explains it in emotions about why.

"

I walk the sacred lonely halls the world has no clue

Am I dead or alive, am I forgotten all alone

Not even the world can fix me with glue

I see nurses running down the hall to get the phone

Music fills the hall a baby is born but rushed down the hall

The baby is barely alive pushed away as a mother cries

I run down the hall I can’t die as I hold onto the wall

The baby begins to breath and the nurse sighs

The baby girl was so blue

Her mother had to leave her there that day

Her mother couldn’t  to believe it was so true

Every night her mother says I love u before she lays

Till this day we never pass that hospital

Every night we pray I’m alive

To leave a baby in the hospital would be a difficult thing for a mother. A baby is loved as soon the first feel in the mother's stomach. I like how you told the story. I hate hospitals also. Few good things can come from a hospital visit. A very good ending to a excellent poem.

I love the emotion in this piece. The imagery is great, the diction is lucid and flowing.
