Hopeless Hope

Hopeless Hope

A Poem by Tierney Heilman

Shame shackles to shelves,

Discarded in disarray.

Leaving liberty living,

Pious people pray.

While weeping willows wangle,

Because breathing brought bounty.

Pride pressures passion privately,

Calling color counts in county.
