Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the Rain

A Poem by Ashley

Running out of the house

Into the pouring rain

Bare feet touching the cold wet grass

Letting my hair loose

Permitting the wind to whip it around

Palms upturned towards the night sky

Embracing the chilly night air

Head tilted back

Allowing the rain to fall onto my face

Body swaying with the rhythm of my heartbeat

Smiling all the while

As I dance in the rain

I love it! It was if I could feel the rain against my skin.
