A tribute to a poet - Ana sophia

A tribute to a poet - Ana sophia

A Chapter by Thayle L.
"

Some kind words for Ana Sophia.

"
Spinning the wheel
Of my savior to find
Who my partner
Would be.

I got you.

And once upon a bench,
You cared. You were
There to help, to
Guide.

We wrote a poem.

I played triangle
You played square
Dark, thoughtful
Mixed with
Light and happy.

We tried anyways.

Meaningful things came
pouring from a gap in
What we knew, and what
We didn't. Not yet.

And the magnitude
Of what we did embraced
The world. And so the
Poetry reached across
Foggy skies.

Nice tribute to a fellow writer... alas mine are mostly when they pass...

To collaborate on a piece of writing is akin to great sex . . . altho I really love your poem here, it's a thoughtful tribute to your writing partner . . . but still, I feel it could've conveyed a little more of the intensity of the way it can feel to really commune with another person's mind in such intimate ways. This is more "in the head" than "in the heart" . . .

Not a bad shot. You seemed to be captured some kinda the compilation of memories in words. Nicely penned. Keep it up!
