A GOOD MAN

BY: TYLER FURROUGH

7/21/12

                               Listen young lad, listen close.

A good man would never curse.

A good man will never lift a purse.

A good man would never steer from course.

A good man will always fight on, amidst the worst.

A good man would have a stiff drink.

A good man will never let a stiff drink, turn to a curse.

A good man would never cheat.

A good man will play cards so well; he might make an honest man think.

A good man would never stray from him morals.

A good man will never lower his guard.

A good man would never tell a lie.

A good man will sometimes utter a white lie, for good morale of course.

A good man would show never show fear in mixed company.

A good man will let tear fall to his cheek.

As a good man would,

 A good man wills.

A good man would never be forgotten.

A good man will remember the good men fallen before him.

So good lad,

Be a good man one day if you so choose.

Just remember this,

All good men will be the first to die, if they are really any good.
