So much pain

So much pain

A Poem by The High Poet
"

This is the story of my back and the pain I am forced to live in

"
I am in so much pain because of my back
13 years ago wrestling it did crack
For so many years I never knew
My stupid doctor didn't have a clue

So I finally get my MRI scan
They say when did you break your back man
For 11 years I walked around
All it would take is a fall to the ground
Then I would never walk again
Need spinal fusion, so lets begin

The surgery was a complete success
My spin no longer looks like a mess
So why am I still in so much pain
No one can tell me, it drives me insane

I'm very sorry you remain in pain. I sort of interpret pain as perhaps physical and emotional pain due to the frustration of a permanently injured back. A family member of mine is suffering from a permanent injury to the spine also. My prayers to you.

So sorry for you back. Nicely put into words.

this looks like the joke, the surgery was a complete success - the patient died.
But no jokes, perhaps gymnastics to build muscles in the back and also a technique when heaving loads one has bend knees and and get them in kinda straight position and good food and tea and a Chinese doctor? I am glad you are out of crack and all that delusional stuff and that you kept your sense for poetry. I am wishing you soon recovery.
