I don't think this is a Haiku right? Because the second lines contain 8 syllables. The word evening has 3 syllables ... e - ve - ning ... maybe you can break it into 'ev'ning' so that the line contains 7 syllables.
Nature has always been an inspiration for me and I love it. I also love rainbows and this short write is simple, and so beautiful. You captured the feeling you get by the rainbow bringing warmth by the sun after raining. Very imaginative.
