unfair

I wrote this poem a while ago, I hope you like it.

I sit here in silence
And think of you
They don’t make sense
All the things you do

You flirt with me
And I do so back
You make me happy
But then it all goes black

To me you stop talking
And give me dirty looks
When I see you in the hallways
You make me drop my books

There you are
Walking my way
You voice like a guitar
But what will you say

My heart beats fast
I gasp for air
Will this time be like the last
It’s so unfair


You give me a hug
and apologize
I feel so snug
As tears slip out my eyes
