"The Smile That Never Fades"

Behind the beauty of the rose,
There is a smile that never fades,
A longing for the touch,
To erase the past and cover scars without the backlash of lust.

A kiss to wipe away the tears,
A promise to a heart chained by fears,
Words unspoken, but not unsaid,
Her hazel portal's words have never been so clear.

A hand within a hand,
An arm around her flesh,
Within the smile that never fades,
Lies perfection's greatest secret.
