Your Words

Your Words

A Poem by Sara Henry Heistand
"

An unreliable narrator! (And canyoubelieve how creepy one can be?)

"

I read your words

Inside a whirling blur of songness

Every casualty you described

Another cause to digress

And I did I did I    d I d

What I could to follow

your words

in melody ( because you like    t h I s )

in hilarity ( because you    d o n ‘ t )

And careful consideration

Of that thing that you meant

When you were tapping your pen in

t I m e e e

with mine

813 Miles Away

I made up themes

That you could have described

If you had wrote about me

And it’snIce to see thatyoudo

About
